RECRUITERS & AGENCY 101

Unlike the agents for professional athletes, Employment Agencies and Recruiter agents are paid by the employer – not by candidates. Please contact me with your Recruiter information, and fill in your information and send to 2-com. for phone or local professional agency, or recruiter help. Many will have contact with employers you could not otherwise reach.

Points to ponder

Job Seekers: For your perfect placement, we can highly recommend that you associate yourself with a recruiter or other knowledgeable insider who will know or know HOW to contact the person(s) who can be influential for you. Work by these groups is built around the idea of how to effectively manage sizable hiring and retention costs.

That cost management looks at the TOTAL cost of the transaction(s) recognizing important factors. Typically, an employer can self-ask this question: “If we use this recruiter (agency or career manager) can we expect better net results than if we did all the work ourselves?” If the answer is yes, an employer will use that outside recruiter or agency.

If you use a career manager, you may have out of pocket expense. However, you will almost certainly find a desirable job quicker than you would by job hunting on your own. Plus, willing employers will recognize they are saving a recruiter fee. Business is a contact sport. The career manager is much like the agent for a professional athlete. They know the market and they do have contacts. The very personal question then becomes this: How much does it cost you to be unemployed – every hour – every day, week or month?

Valued workers have talents comparable to the marketable talents of athletes. Be aware of yours and how they distinguish you in the workplace.
